General Information
The sixth annual Internal Compass Summer Seminar and Jazz festival will take place for the first time in Budapest, Hungary!
The seminar gives the participants an opportunity to meet new musicians, play in various ensembles, perform and be exposed to new music, new approaches to improvisation, rhythm and composition.
What will you do?
Participate in an intensive week of classes, master classes, ensembles, concerts and jam sessions, with guest artists from Hungary, Israel, Poland, Serbia, and USA (Faculty of University of Nebraska Omaha & Internal Compass Music and Academy of Music in Łódź.)
When and where?
Monday, August 14 to Sunday August 19. In Budapest, Hungary - at the Listz Academy, and IF Jazz Cafe.
Who is it for?
The seminar accepts musicians from all backgrounds and levels, and is for musicians age 18 and up.
Participation Fee
350 Euro, including admission to all performances at IF Jazz Cafe
Accomodation & Food
The seminar does not take care of accommodation (lodging) & food.
There are lots of options for accommodation in Budapest,
the main location will be the Music School budiling on Köztelek u. 8, and IF Jazz Cafe on Ráday u. 19.
Summer is always a busy season, especially during the month of August - we recommend to make arrangements ASAP!
